At least five pairs of classes from our School Twinning program used creative methods such as: Israeli and American students exchange things they are thankful for in their lives, and through that learning the differences and similarities in values and lifestyle; learning a Hebrew song about Toda, and creating a collage of “thanks” on the school Partnership board. For some, the learning was so meaningful that they continue the subject in their lessons this week.

Each pupil prepared a personal “Modeh Ani” craft, and pupils expressed personal prayers at an assembly highlighted by a performance by 2nd graders.

Nahariya Ussishkin School pupils opened Global Day of Jewish Learning activities by praying for the safety of residents of Southern Israel and IDF soldiers.

Each grade then continued by studying in accord with specially tailored lesson plans.
