As part of the close connections between the schools over the years, this year, 8th graders from Gross Schechter visited the region. Throughout the year, the educational program between the schools dealt with local leadership. The students were excited to see each other after having a virtual connection for such a while. One of the highlights of the visit included a new activity that took place in the Shuk (market) of Beit Shean, where the Clevelanders were able to feel Israeli. Teams made up of Israelis and Americans were sent to the Shuk and were supposed to bargain with the sellers, interview them and dance the Hora with them in the center of the Shuk.
