Musical bonds have been forming between the Galron choir in Kfar Saba and lovers of music and song in Columbus. The members of the ensemble will traveling to Columbus this coming spring. They will performing before various audiences: schools, synagogues, Holocaust survivors, old age homes, students, etc. The ensemble members will hold singing workshops and teach Israeli songs to Jewish children, youth and adults. The audience, most of whom only know traditional Jewish songs, will also be exposed to modern Israeli songs.
The ensemble members will about the Partnership program, about Israel in general and about Kfar Saba in particular.
The ensemble might also perform for non-Jewish audiences in order to introduce them to Israeli culture.
