To advance solutions to critical issues in Colorado, such as water conservation and alternative energy, the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado hosted an economic development mission to Israel with Gov. Bill Ritter and experts from his cabinet, July 12-18, 2010.
The visit is the result of a 10-year partnership between the Ramat Negev community and AJF.
“Colorado, like Ramat Negev, has been coping with problems of water, soil and climate very similar to those of Ramat Negev,” says Shmuel Rifman, mayor of the Ramat Negev Regional Council.
