Youth Activity in Ramat Negev

During the past two years, Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado’s Partnership2Gether, in conjunction with the Ramat Negev Regional Council, has supported a new tourism industry for cyclists. To-date, more than 100 miles of bike trails have been marked in the area, and this has helped to establish the region as a major destination for cyclists from all over Israel.

The Ramat Negev Youth Department was established in partnership with Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado for the purpose of creating a central address that would coordinate all youth activities among the fourteen villages that make up the community of Ramat Negev. Today, there are a total of more than 1000 youth and teens active at all the villages. At least four times each year they come together to participate in joint activities, such as summer camps, field trips, rock concerts, and community service projects.
