Saving the Stones

16 – 30 year olds are invited to apply your academic knowledge in Conservation, History, Art, Design, Archeology, Architecture, Middle Eastern Studies, Museum Studies and Religion through a practical internship.

Study ancient stones and building technologies, work alongside Israeli conservation specialists and archeologists and learn about renowned historical figures, nations, cultures and religious movements which have left their mark in Israel.

Core contents of the program:

• Hands on experience in documentation of historical sites
• Hands on experience in traditional building techniques such as masonry work, stone-cutting, carpentry and plastering
• Heritage classes, cultural and social events
• Study trips
